Airfix 1/72nd Scale- American B-25 Mitchell in a Red Stripe Box (1960's)
The B-25 was a medium twin engined bomber and was named in honour of Billy Mitchell a U.S Aviation pioneer and was the only American
Plane  named after a particular person.
The Plane was developed in the 1930's and saw action throughout the war as a very effective weapon especially famous for the Doolittle raid in 1942
against Tokoyo (Remember them now in the modern Pearl Harbour Film where they run out of fuel over China).
The Kit is complete and in Excellent Condition with the majority of the parts still attached to the sprue. The set also contains the Instructions and Decal Sheet.
The Box is in Very Good to excellent condtion for its age with nice bright graphics and only slight storage creasing .
I love the action Graphics on these early box's  which makes them a special item to collect and you never tire of looking at them.
