Airfix Series 1 Matador and Gun in H0/00 Scale sealed on Card.
This is a fabulous opportunity to obtain a Rare Series 1 Matador and Gun which is still sealed on its original card.
The 5.5 inch Gun was designed by the Armaments Research and Development Establishment in 1938 to replace the outdated 6 inch Howitzer.
The Goverment must have known some hostilities were about to happen because they were ordered in great numbers prior to World War 2.
The Tractor to pull these was the Famous four wheel drive A.E.C Matador which had accomodation for the Gun team,equipment and some ammunition.
The Matador chassis was so reliable it was it prompted its use in other Army units and the R.A.F.
The Model is still in its original sealed pack which is in Mint Condition ,with a really good Graphic scene,bright colours ,and a clear bubble.
