The Gorizia participated in almost all of the Regia Marina's major engagements against the Royal Navy,including the Battle of Punta,Stilo,Cape Spartivento etc etc
ironically the only Major Battle she missed was Cape Matapan where all three of her sister ships were sunk,
Gorizia was captured by the Germans after the Italian surrender but was destroyed in port by a bold frogman raid.
