Airfix British Eighth Army in Brown Box Series 1 (1969-71)
Product Information Airfix British Eighth Army in Series 1 Brown Box from 1969 to 1971. This is my fathers old regiment the Desert Rats so was probably my Favourite set especially when I heard of the true life battles that happened. This is one of the earlier Airfix Boxs with the Red/White Airfix Rectangle Logo. The Contents are complete with all 29 figures and are in excellent condition with no tip damage etc. The Box is in good to very good condition with all tabs intakt and excellent bright battle graphics to the front. There is slight storage scuffs and slight tears developing along one lid flap due to the amount of times it has been opened (see picture)but for a box that is nearly 40 years old it has done very well. A lovely set which are rare like all these early boxs.
