Admirals Board Game by Parker (1973)
This is another Classic Game from my Childhood that I played many times and was great fun.
The Game is very similar to Statego but is based on the high seas.
Each player has a fleet of ships of different strengths and also a number of mines that can destroy any ship except the mine sweeper .
The aim of the Game is to take your opponents admiral,
The Opponents Ship Strength is hidden from view so you must take a Gamble if attacking, There are two ways to win a battle ,one is to have a higher value piece than your
opponent or to jump over him as in Draughts.
The Mines can be placed anywhere on the Board but cannot be moved ,
The Game is very simple to learn but has real strategic depths which will be apparent the more you play.
The Game is complete and the contents are in Very Good original Condition.
The Box is in Good Condition with Superb Graphics but has some age related scuffing to the box edges which is to be expected with a Game over 36 years old.
This is a timeless Game that will never go out of fashion and will provide many hours of fun.
