Steeplechase Board Game by Spears
This is a very colourful old game by the well known manufacturer Spears.
I don't know the age of this game but I would guess the 50's or before.
The aim of the game is to get your horse around the course and pass the finishing line first but avoiding the obstacles.
I have played this game a number of times and even though mostly the luck of the dice it is very exciting to play especially with 4 players.
The game contents are complete and in Excellent condition ,The metal horses have no paint loss and are beautifully sculputered and the Board illustration is fantastic
The Box is also very good condition with bright colourful graphics with only a neat repair to one corner of the lid and a small repair to the base stopping it being excellent.
Overall a lovely game which will certainly increase in value.
